About Me

Mary Spencer is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and maintains a private practice in Colleyville, Texas.

With years of experience as a therapist and group facilitator, and as a graduate of Argosy University specializing in Community Counseling, therapy of all types, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are relationship interventions.

Mary is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

  to learn new behaviors and skills which will result in ending domestic violence. 
  Sessions include education and skills training in anger management, effective
  communication, problem-solving and assertive versus aggressive behavior. 
  
  Previouly facilitated CPS classes for women whose children's lives have been
  affected by domestic violence. 

  Familiar with the Duluth Model and Turning Points curriculum.
